Monte Carlo Ceiling Fan

Are you considering picking up the Monte Carlo ceiling fan?  The Monte Carlo Fan Company began as early as 1996 believe it or not.  When they founded the company they did so with the notion of creating fans that are exceptional in their design without sacrificing quality or comfort.

Over time they have produced many different styles of fans, fans that are trendy, understated as well as ornate, they have a wide selection of fans for various tastes as well as different types of rooms and budgets. 

This is a company that despite being relatively new, has developed a name for themselves in developing quiet, stylish fans with energy efficient motors.

Now before we go into the Monte Carlo ceiling fan, you should first figure out how big of a fan you’re going to want to go for based on your room size.  Here’s the breakdown:

1.  Large Room 15’ x 15’ - If you have a room this large, you’re going to need a fan 52” to 56”
2. Small Room 10’ x 10’ – If this is more like the size of your room, go for 38” to 48”
3. Even Smalller? – Go for 24” to 34”

Now as far as which Monte Carlo ceiling fan to get, here’s a look at some of the more popular models:

This fan is probably the best buy for the price.  As far as installing it, it’s all quite simple, the pieces come together easily and sit together well which is a testament to the quality of the fan.  Also, it’s good that it fit together so easily as the directions weren’t the easiest thing for me to follow.

This also comes with a bag full of additional screws which is nice to have incase you need to repair your fan down the road, you’re not going to have to go scrambling to a hardware store.  If you are looking to install this fan in a room with low clearance though, you should know this does not have the option of being installed flush with the ceiling, so you might want to look for a low profile ceiling fan  version if that’s what you’re looking for.

Other than that, once I had installed it, it ran quiet and it looked great, looked like it cost a lot more than what I paid for it.

Monte Carlo Ceiling Fan 5DI52BSD – L Discus 52 Inch Contemporary Ceiling Fan w/ Light Kit

Here’s another great fan that is quite similar to the previous fan except that it has a more contemporary look.  It makes a great fan for the kitchen and is quite sleek looking and modern.
It does have a slight humming sound when running, but the fan works great and lights up the room nicely.  This is a good sized fan that runs well with no “wobbling”.
